A Mission Statement

In Mathematics a proof is said to be "from first principles" when it begins from the most basic or fundamental axioms. In Literature it means to begin a story from the beginning. This is what I will be attempting with this blog. I will address and examine issues in Politics, Economics, Science and Language. In a world that is forcing me to seek out my specialization, I refuse to be hemmed in. This will be my space to roam widely, to speak freely and begin from the beginning.
